Schedule Available
May 17th, 2009The conference is just around the corner. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!
We’ve posted a PDF version of the schedule that will be available at the conference. Grab it for your laptop if you prefer electronic over paper.
We also plan to make slides and other presentation materials available here on the site as they are given to us by the presenters. So keep an eye on the Sessions page for those links.
Have You Registered Yet?
April 17th, 2009The conference is about 1 month away and registrations have been very strong. We do have a limit to the number of people we can hold in the rooms at the State Library. So if you have not registered yet, don’t wait any longer! Use the registration link to secure your spot at TechConnections 2.0.0.9
Moving and Shaking at TechConnections
March 20th, 2009Don’t worry, there won’t be any dancing at the conference (at least we don’t think so). We will, however, have two of Library Journal’s 2009 Movers and Shakers speaking at TechConnections. Out keynote, Michael Porter, is one of this year’s trendspotters. Chad Boeninger is one of this year’s innovators.
Congratulations Chad and Michael!

2009 Call for Proposals
November 9th, 2008We are now accepting proposals for the 10th annual TechConnections Conference. This year’s event will take place on May 19, 2009 at the State Library of Ohio.
TechConnections is a great opportunity for library technologists to share their knowledge and experiences with others in the their community. Please consider submitting a proposal for 2009. This year we plan to hold traditional 45-minute sessions as well as shorter 20-minute sessions. You can look at the 2008 sessions and the 2007 sessions to see examples of past topics and speakers.
Proposals and any questions should be sent via email to Glen Horton at SWON Libraries. Be sure to indicate if your proposal is for a 20 or 45 minute session.
The call for proposals will close December 31, 2008.
